So a sunny day in California dawned on my second day.On the way out, I noticed that Josh’s view from his doorway was simply lovely.
It was decided for me that it was necessary for me to visit Sausolito that very day. So on we went. It was an hour’s drive at which point I became very carsick. But once we arrived and I consumed a coffee, I perked up and enjoyed the sights.
We then took a very windy drive up to a high scenic point to look for a nice picnic spot.
Although we found some lovely views, unfortunately there wasn’t an appropriate picnic spot (Josh’s opinion, not mine). And so in the face of overwhelming nausea (by me), we decided to return back to Sausolito and find a park there. Which we did.
The picnic turned out to be life-changing. But that’s a story for another time.
