Sunday morning found me calling Loz. We were supposed to have caught up for brunch however at 10:30 I was still in bed. A quick call to Loz found that great minds think alike. So brunch became lunch. I decided that since I was going to pig out, I would walk to Lola & Wren. While waiting for Loz, I decided to get a warming drink.
This was decadent and creamy. I was tempted to use the cinnamon stick as a straw but decided not to, instead it was the perfect swizzle stick. For lunch, Loz and I, in classic fashion, ordered with eyes too big for our stomachs.

Lola & Wren had a lovely atmosphere and as always, I thoroughly enjoyed catching up with Loz.
