Friday lunch was upon us and the ever agonising decision of where to eat. Sal and I decided to try out the Broadsheet Restaurant. The Restaurant is temporary only closing in August. Once in, we admired our surroundings.
I will say this, the music was too loud. At certain points, it was quite jarring. Nonetheless, we stayed for lunch. Sal ordered devilled eggs with salmon on rye bread.
I order the Kettle Black burger.
Yes, that is a black burger bun. It was very lovely however at the end of my $21 dollar meal, I was still hungry. Unfortunately, the dessert options were limited with all but one dessert available during the day: gelato. It was too cold for gelato so we had to make do without dessert.
It is a nice concept and as Josh said “very wanky and Melbourne like” which is fine because that’s how food is meant to be…sometimes.
