So for the first time I was invited to a Board Games night at the Celtic Club. Didn’t really know what to expect. I turned up to the Celtic Club and felt so out of place, mainly because I was having trouble locating the lift! But not to worry, I did find it after asking three different bar staff. Into the rickety lift I went and I took it to the first floor. The doors opened to a hundred people gathered around tables.
This table was one of the things that first caught my eye. What ensued was a very fun night. I learnt a new game: the Alchemist.
I lost abysmally because I didn’t realise the plus and minus tokens were different on each side. Ah well, I’m sure I’ll dominate the next time I play. I’m totally bringing the Wine Soaked crew to one of these nights.
