First of all, the weather was Ah-Mae-Zing. Just the most perfect day to watch two perfect people handfast . Firstly, I spent time on my hair.
The Bride and Groom deserved the effort my hair took. It doesn’t look like much but it took me an hour (because I stuffed it up the first time and had to do it again). I Uber’d to Megs and Jimmy’s and then all of us trooped to Ripponlea. Did you know that there was a Miss Fisher’s exhibition going on at the same time? That is literally my favourite show and it is a testament to how much I adore Bec and Dave that I walked away… towards the ceremony.
I took the celebrant’s instructions very seriously. I took this one picture of the guests and put my camera away and concentrated on the ceremony. I loved how Bec and Dave completely individualised the ENTIRE ceremony. Even though it was the celebrant who did most of the talking, I heard either Bec’s or Dave’s voice the whole time. Ceremony over. We moved to the reception.
Yes, I took photos of the table settings. It was so opulent! And just so you know, the table settings and bomboniere was made by the ever-talented beautiful bride! I loved them! So they definitely deserved photos. We all sat down, took some photos.
There is a photo that should be inserted here of Linden’s boobs, yes we were quite drunk.
Yeah I don’t know why the long face.
I was so glad this lovely lady was in attendance! Cass, you are going to dominate Europe (you and Mark!). So glad we got to catch up before you jetted off.
Then…. They arrived!!!!
So this is the first time they appeared in this post. Ahh… Don’t they look divine!
Took as many opportunities as possible to get pics.
Bec and I deserved two shots, one with our smiling faces and a full length. Now that I’m writing this, I remember tucking my bare feet underneath your skirt Bec!
This is a picture of Bec listening to her speeches. I LOVE THIS PICTURE. It epitomised how awesome, casual and fun the whole wedding was. One of those weddings where the bride and groom really enjoyed it all in their own way.
Dave’s speech was so funny. And when you guys took your first dance, ahh… so much feelings.
And then (cue the ghetto dancing) the PARTY STARTED!!!
Bec & Dave, thank you for allowing me to be a part(y) of your big day. I had such a great time. Kisses and hugs all ’round!!!!!!!
Talk soon.
Love Sim
